Challenge 51 - Stitching

Good morning everyone. Friday today and time for a new challenge here. It's my turn to set the theme this week. First though, I want to thank everyone who entered Lindseys colour challenge last week, lots of gorgeous entries as always.

Next, I want to tell you all about the excitement coming to the challenge blog next week. Crafty Catz will be celebrating their first birthday next week and to make it a bit of a party , we are organising a BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP! We have lots of fab sponsors lined up and some of the girls will also have a wee bit of candy at their own blogs too. So, lots of goodies to be won and inspiration to be had! I hope you all manage to join in and help us celebrate.

So, onto this weeks theme, which is:

'Stitching'

That's it - nice and simple, just how I like it, lol. You can use your sewing machines, sew by hand or even do some doodling with a pen to make it look like stitching (my option). Looking forward to hopping by to see what gorgeousness you all come up with this week. Also, we had a bit of a mix up with sponsors this week but the fabulous Lindsey has stepped in to save our skins, lol and she is offering one lucky winner the below fantastic prize. So, what are you waiting for?!

Challenge 50 - Colour Combo...Chocolate and green

Happy Friday you Crafty Catz! Thank you so much to everyone who took part in Diane's Paper Piecing challenge last week, we had lots of fantastic entries and Suzie will be back later in the week when she has drawn a winner.

Soooo........it's time for a new challenge and this time it's my turn (Lindsey) to set the theme. You would think it would be fairly simple to think up a challenge theme wouldn't you? Oh no! It took me weeks to come up with something! My mind went blank! Anyway, after a lot of head scratching and several bars of Cadbury's Dairy Milk (other confectionery brands are available), I came up with the colour combo of

CHOCOLATE AND GREEN

I'm just loving chocolate brown at the moment and there are so many shades of green from bright green to teal, mint to lime that there is a lot of scope for both male and female cards.
