Challenge #222 - Boys and their toys & GDT Call

Good morning everyone and welcome to a new challenge here at Crafty Catz! Thank you everyone for your fantastic Paper Piercing creations for our last challenge. Don´t forget to come back tomorrow for our winner and Top 3.

We are having a GDT call this week for April so if you fancy joining us for our challenges, then just add GDT after your name . We're a really friendly team and we welcome all, whether you are new to blogging or DT work or are more experienced.

Before we get started we would like to say a big welcome to our newest DT member, Donna! You all know her already since she was our guest designer last month.

It´s my (Nick) turn to set the theme this week and I have picked
Boys and their toys

So we want to see cards for men/boys with some sort of "toy" it can be a lot of things, tool boxes or tools, cars, motorbikes, bikes,  tv-games, hunting or fishing equipment or sailboats....

We are sponsored this week by  DigiStamps4Joy

 Digistamps4Joy SHOP
South African crafters are new to the digital stamping world, with the first South African online digital image store launched in 2010 – Digistamps4Joy (or DS4J) In May 2012, Margy Kieser took over ownership of DS4J, and there are now two South African artists who contribute to the more than 500 images available. Margy has taken the store to new heights and the store now stocks digis that are cute, whimsical, artistic, sometimes serious, and sometimes humorous. In addition, one of our own South African rubber stamp companies granted us permission for one range of rubber stamps to be converted into digistamp images. The store has PAYPAL, PAYFAST (South African) and EFT (South African) facilities. Digistamps4Joy offers a monthly freebie on the first Friday of every month, and holds regular bi-weekly card challenges that draw entries from many international card makers.

We got two amazing Guest designers with us today

Our GDT for March - Mirella

and with us from DigiStamps4Joy we have

I first started crafting when my son was in his second year of Beavers. My husband and I became leaders that year with 2 other wonderful people. I found that I had a nack for finding ways of making crafts for the Beavers to do that were cute but inexpesive. I moved on from Beavers into Guiding and followed my daughter through her 2 years of Sparks and Brownies and her first year of Guides. When she left I continued on for a few years. During this time I found that I loved making things by hand for when I was introduced to making cards 3 years ago, I jumped into it enthusiastically. And I have never regretted it.

She used Dads Austin image

As usual the DT team have come up with some cool and inspiring creations.

Aren´t they all great? We are looking forward to seeing all your creations - and please remember, no more than 3 entries to keep things fair.

Have a great crafty week,
Nick & the Crafty Catz Team!
